Tech giant Tencent released Lucky Night: Texas Hold’em VR on Steam

Global tech giant Tencent had released VR game Lucky Night: Texas Hold’em VR on Steam under the name of Next Games on July 26, 2017.
Lucky Night: Texas Hold’em VR is a VR multiplayer online poker game, offers impressive Texas hold’em game in virtual room with real players, allows users to play as a poker master. Currently, it’s compatible whit HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Allegedly, a new version will coming in the near future, along with arms and more features.
Following are the key features listed by the team:
1. Simple and natural controls
Interact with the chips and cards by motion controllers, just like playing a real poker game. It’s very easy to see the cards, raise the bet, check, call and fold.
2. Exciting poker games
Allow at most 6 players play together. Observe competitors’ actions, and guess their strategies to earn more chips. Watch the live on the big screen to get more information of the current game.
3. A variety of expression
Send the emoji to others, to express your happiness, surprise, anger and disappointment. Show a very different yourself in VR world.
4. Customizable Avatar
Many kinds of hair styles, clothing, shoes and accessories are available. Grab what you like and cast to your body to change to new style.
The developer behind Lucky Night: Texas Hold’em VR, is an internal team of Tencent’s gaming entertainment division, and the game is published under the name of Next Games. You may have already found that VR game Shadow Mist is also published under the name of Next Games, which is developed by another internal team.
Part of the reason is that they are still testing the water, according to Tencent.
